CBE High Holiday Youth Programming
LITTLES (Recommended for 2nd grade and below)
• September 12th, 13th, and 21st
• NEW Family Services 10:30-11:15am in the Library
• Supervised activities and play time 10-10:30am and 11:15am-12pm (or end of sermon)
Our youngest congregants, along with their grown-ups, are invited to participate in a BRAND NEW family service designed just for kids and their families! Family Services will be at 10:30am on BOTH days of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur.
Kids can then participate in supervised activities (with snack!) for the rest of the morning while their grown-ups join the main services.
The Prayground will also be available in the Social Hall for kids who would like to stay with their grown-ups. (Grown- ups can hear the service through the sound system).
BIGS (Recommended for 3rd – 7th grade)
• September 12th, 13th, and 21st, 10-12pm (or end of sermon)
• On RH1 and YK, students will start with a little review of the holiday and services before coming in with their teacher to help lead the beginning of the Torah service. They’ll return to Classroom 4/5 at 10:45am for snack and programming, wrapping up around 12pm or when the sermon ends.
• On RH2, the morning will start with a youth-led service in Classroom 4/5 and snack; they’ll join the main services at 11:15am for Shofar and to help return the Torah, then head back for a closing activity before wrapping up around 12pm or when the sermon ends.
