“Great is Torah study, for it leads to righteous action.”
–Babylonian Talmud, Tractate Kiddushin 40b

Jewish study is a lifelong pursuit. At Congregation Beth El, we encourage adult learning and discussion. Our Rabbi offers regular learning opportunities throughout the year, both during the week and during Shabbat. In addition to these regular learning opportunities, we strive to offer speakers and programming that stimulate our intellectual curiosity.

Monthly Torah Study: during Shabbat morning services, followed by Kiddush lunch. See the CBE calendar for specific dates. All are welcome to come and participate!

Exploring the Siddur: This is Rabbi Paskind’s new Shabbat learning class.  Before services at 9:15 am, join Rabbi Paskind for a special session that focusses soley on the Siddur.

Pop Up Rabbi: Back by popular demand! Meet Rabbi Paskind at Aroma Cafe in Norwalk, Wednesdays at 10:00 am.  There is no agenda, no set topics.  Whatever everyone wants to chat about is what the discussion is centered around.

Annual Bill Grossman Memorial Scholar In Residence Program
A yearly opportunity to deepen our Jewish learning, in memory of long-time congregant and morning minyan leader Bill Grossman.

Nitzan Nursery School is a state-licensed nursery school.

In Hebrew, Nitzan means “blossom.” We are dedicated to having each student blossom, grow and learn at their own pace and in their own way. Nitzan’s warm and nurturing environment encourages curiosity and safely allows your child to explore his or her surroundings. Our goal is the individual growth and development of the whole child — creatively, socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. By providing a variety of developmentally appropriate experiences and material, Nitzan creates an atmosphere that encourages every child to develop a love of learning and a positive self-image. Children of all faiths are welcome to attend.
