First Fridays at Beth El: Good Food, Great Company, and a Growing Community!
David Goldstein – Director of Community Engagement
We’ve kicked off a new tradition at Congregation Beth El, and it’s been off to a fantastic start!
If you haven’t joined us for an If you haven’t joined us for a first Friday yet, every month you
get the opportunity! Our September gathering featured a make-your-own nacho bar, while October
brought veggies, dip, and fresh fruit. Both evenings were a huge success, with more than 60 people
joining us each time!
First Friday is all about bringing our community together in a relaxed, casual setting. It’s a
chance to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people, make connections, and enjoy some good food without any fuss. Enjoy a beer or glass of wine while you daven or a snack while you schmooze. And the best part? You don’t have to come alone! Friends are always welcome, so bring someone along and help us continue to grow this wonderful community.
Our next First Friday is coming up on Friday, November 6, and we’re switching things up with a
homemade soup tasting featuring delicious soups prepared by three members of our own congregation. What better way to welcome the fall weather than with a warm bowl of soup and great company?
Whether you’ve joined us for both gatherings or haven’t made it to one yet, we’d love to see you
there. Come hungry, bring a friend, and join us for an evening of food, friendship, and community.
We’ll save you a seat at the table!
