Congregation Beth El Norwalk hosts two IDF Soldiers

The Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County partnered with The Jewish Agency for Israel to bring two IDF soldiers to the community – Shai Schwartz and Tamir Waks — to share their stories of military service, their losses since October 7 and what it means to serve their country during this moment in time.  Congregation Beth El was honored to host these two men for a luncheon on May 15.  50 community members came out to hear them speak of their service and the sacrifices their families and careers must endure while they serve.
