A “Welcome Home” Shabbat
We were thrilled to gather for Shabbat at the Bunkhouse on Friday evening, August 18. The weather was just perfect, and it was a great opportunity to welcome Rabbi Paskind back to Beth El after 6 weeks away on Sabbatical in Israel. Community members of all ages and stages gathered to reconnect, sing together, and of course visit the ice cream truck!
Rabbi Paskind said:
“After getting rained out back in June, I was so excited to welcome Shabbat at the Bunkhouse right after returning from my Sabbatical. It felt like coming home, and I was glad to see everyone who came that evening.”
Kabbalat Shabbat services are (almost) always at 6pm, and we look forward to more outdoor gatherings next summer!
Special thanks to our photographers Mary Oster and Amy SantaLucia who captured the evening.
