A Community Chanukah Celebration

For the last night of Chanukah, the community gathered on the front lawn of CBE to light the last “candle” on our outside Chanukiah.  Along with Temple Shalom, Rabbi Ita Paskind, Rabbi Cantor Shirah Sklar, Rabbi Jason Greenberg and Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling welcomed the last night of Chanukah.  Many local community members came to sing songs and celebrate the light of the Chanukiah in the darkness of December.  There were dreidels and gelt for children of all ages and delicious sufganiyot and hot chocolate.
