We are proud to recognize our congregant Melissa Marlowe-Reiner for her dedicated leadership as chair of last night’s Schoke Jewish Family Service (JFS) event. The evening was attended by Rabbi Paskind, CBE staff, and several board members, along with familiar faces from the Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County and neighboring synagogues.

Schoke JFS plays a vital role in our community—providing counseling, emergency assistance, support for seniors, and programs such as the Freedberg Family Kosher Food Pantry and the Mobile Food Pantry. Their mission is to sustain individuals and families through life’s challenges while helping build strong, healthy communities rooted in dignity and care.

We are proud that CBE was able to participate as a sponsor, standing together with Melissa and our community in support of this important work.

A special thank you as well to Otis and the Hurricanes for their musical repertoire and to Penfield Pavilion for providing such a lovely setting for the evening.
